Two remote control apps for your Homylon house, for Android and for iPhone and iPad.
Lights and blinds shows your lights, rooms and curtains as cards and switches, dims and colours them through the Engine. A change shows at once and the card tells you when the light has followed.
The pocket remote has up to four buttons, switches and sliders with your own labels. Each one sends an event your scene can react to, for example when remote homylonremote button button1 = clicked then scene movienight.
Android
Download the app on your phone or tablet and open it. Android asks once to allow installing apps from your browser: allow it and install. Both run on Android 7.0 or later. The first time, give the address of the computer the Engine runs on in the settings (the cogwheel); the Engine then finds the phone by itself.
The Android sources are for building the apps yourself with Android Studio. The README in the download tells how, step by step. An app you build yourself and the app from this page cannot be installed over each other: remove the one before installing the other.
iPhone and iPad
Both come as sources for iOS 12.4 or later: you build them in Xcode and put them on your own device. A free Apple ID is enough for that. Open the project, choose your own team under Signing and run it on your iPhone or iPad. Lights and blinds finds the Engine by itself with Bonjour.
