Homylon is actively maintained. Here is what changed since the first release, newest first. The Downloads pages always carry the newest version.

Fixed

Engine 1.0.5 (Mac and Linux): light ... duration sometimes left a lamp on. A Hue lamp reports a change in pieces, and the engine took the first piece for somebody else switching the lamp. The engine now gives a lamp 2 seconds to settle. A wall switch or the Hue app still wins as before.
Lights and blinds 0.6.3 (iPhone and iPad): the remote stopped looking for the engine once it had found one, so after the engine moved to another machine it kept calling the old one. It now keeps looking and follows the engine.

New

Engine 1.0.4: remotes can now switch rules on and off, see and change variables, and control appliances such as a thermostat, fan, dishwasher, dryer or boiler.
Lights and blinds 0.6.2 (iPhone, iPad and Android): new tabs for Appliances, Events and Variables.
Engine 1.0.3: or between conditions of different kinds, also without brackets (time > sunset or time < sunrise). A month alone means the whole month. Scenes written on Windows are read correctly. The engine no longer looks up the public address of your house: it only uses the addresses inside it.

Engine 1.0.2: accept or reject an agent, also from a rule. Every engine has its own id and home name, and warns when a second engine claims the same home.
Agents 0.6.2 (Hue, CoAP, MQTT, Matter, Sound): an agent can serve more than one engine, and you can give it a name of its own, so two agents of the same kind can live in one house.
Mac agents 0.6.3, Monitor 0.6.2 and the Network Kit 1.0.2: nothing contacts anything outside your house any more.
Android: the first versions of both remotes, Lights and blinds and the pocket remote.

Engine 1.0.1, the first numbered release: time windows such as between 22:00 and 07:00, sun times with minutes, not in conditions, and when on weekdays all work as the manual describes.
Agents 0.6.1, with their own icons. New: the Sound agent for the Mac.
The agent for gateways with a security code is now called the CoAP agent.
